My Ducati Enduro Is 4 Weeks Old!
Life the last four weeks has been quite crazy. About half of that I have fundamentally been working 6-7 days weeks. So there hasn’t been much down time to write the articles I did promise were coming soon. So for that I apologize and will hopefully be able to get some of them out there for you.
Enough of that and back to the good stuff. How many miles do you suppose I have put on in the first month? How many would you have put on?
From Friday the 27th of May to Friday June 24th, while working full time, I currently have 1,863 miles on the odometer. Oh what an exhilarating trip it has been! From asphalt, to dirt roads, muddy roads in the snow, rocky construction site entrances and sandy sections, interstates, highways, city streets and the mountains. There hasn’t been one adventure on it without fun.
Now I know to many that is still probably quite low for an adventure bike. If I am honest, I actually agree with you. I had so many more dreams and quick trips planned. An Iron Butt ride and a couple more camping trips. But life happens and I did what I could.Since you last saw her, the Urban Kit arrived and I got that installed on the bike. The Urban kit was the Tank Bag, which was slicker than anticipated, and the Top Case.
Since I bought my amazing and sexy Multistrada Enduro there hasn’t been one day I commuted to work on 4 wheels. Despite the 90 degree temperatures too we have seen lately it was still exhilarating and nourishing for the soul. It feeds the spirit some much needed replenishing.
I will leave you with these final thoughts: what are you neglecting your spirit and soul from? What might you need to reignite in your life that fills you back up and makes you utterly happy and content?
Go find it! Feed it! Live and love!
